Iran has spent $8 million for filtering


In a press conference, Reza Rashidi, the head of Data Communication Company of Iran, said that shutting down the ISPs will continue until all VoIP communication comes under control and none of the ISPs provide open access to blacklisted websites.

He added the government has spend 70 billion Rials (over $8 million) for blocking users accessing the blacklisted websites, BBC Persian reports.
